Just Got Even Better!

One of the things I love most about Scottsdale Leadership is that our relationships don’t end when we graduate. In fact, I believe some of the greatest value of being a Scottsdale Leadership alum comes from the connections we continue to make long after our class year.

That’s why I’m so excited about something new coming your way: our Scottsdale Leadership Alumni Directory!  And it’s especially meaningful that one of our own alumni is behind it. You’ll see Brian Brookman, Class 31, featured in this month’s Blast from the Past. Brian has been an incredible supporter of Scottsdale Leadership, and he has taken that support one step further by designing our new alumni directory app.

This is so much more than a list of names and phone numbers.  The new directory will make it easier to find other alumni by industry, interests and areas of expertise. You’ll also be able to indicate whether you’re interested in being a mentor, and you’ll have the ability to direct message other alumni when you see an opportunity to connect.

Once you sign up and we approve you, you’ll be able to create your profile and update it anytime. Changed jobs? Added a new interest? Ready to become a mentor? You can make those changes yourself.  With more than 1,450 Scottsdale Leadership alumni, just imagine the possibilities. Someone in your class may be the person you’ve been looking for. Someone from another class may share your passion for a particular cause. Or perhaps there’s an alum you’ve never met who could become a great mentor, colleague, friend or connection.

That’s the power of our alumni network—and now we’re making it easier to tap into it.

A huge thank you to Brian for sharing his time, talent and creativity with Scottsdale Leadership creating this exciting resource for us all. I love that this new tool was created by an alum, for our alumni. It is a wonderful example of our graduates continuing to give back and strengthen the organization for those who come after them.

And while we’re talking about supporting Scottsdale Leadership, it’s not too late to become an Active Alumni Donor. Your support helps us continue providing meaningful experiences and opportunities for our leaders and alumni.
