Scottsdale Leadership Announces 2023-2024 Board of Directors
Elected Board Members to continue Scottsdale Leadership’s mission to inform, inspire
and empower leaders to champion and strengthen the interests of the community
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – August 18, 2023 Scottsdale Leadership, an immersive leadership program, today announced the appointment of its 2023-2024 Board of Directors. Michael Wills has been elected as the 2023-2024 board president.
“Michael Wills has a track record of strong community engagement, working collaboratively with a variety of people and organizations, and we are thrilled to have him serve as President”, said Lee Ann Witt, Executive Director. “We are excited to watch him lead this diverse and dynamic board of directors, who are energized and dedicated to making this 38th year of Scottsdale Leadership our strongest, and most impactful yet.”
“This year, Scottsdale Leadership’s goal is to ‘Aim Higher’, challenging ourselves to make an even more profound impact within our community,” Wills commented. “Our board of directors plays an essential guiding role in focusing our efforts, and bringing expertise and energy to the organization. Scottsdale Leadership offers a challenging nine-month experiential program providing powerful development opportunities through expert-led learning days and high-impact community projects for gaining personal and professional growth. Graduates have gone on to serve as elected officials, to serve on boards and commissions and in leadership roles for many corporate and non-profit organizations. Scottsdale Leadership also focuses sigificantly on giving back to the community through volunteering, and it’s “Project Lead It Forward” program which assists dozens of community and non-profit organizations in meeting unfulfilled needs. Scottsdale Leadership is a non-profit organization and has graduated over 1,300 individuals since it’s founding in 1986.
