The Youth Leadership Award, presented by Scottsdale 20-30 Foundation, recognizes a youth leader who has made contributions to his/her community, family and school as well as exemplifies leadership and community services values.
Nominees for the Youth Leadership Award must be in grades 11 or 12 and meet the following qualifications:
- Demonstrate excellent leadership at home at school and in the community
- Exhibit initiative and leadership potential in setting and achieving short and long-term goals
- Exhibit an understanding of the skills that effective leaders possess
