In addition to its core program and continuing education series, Scottsdale Leadership hosts annual education events designed to provide opportunities for dialogue for the alumni and the community-at-large. Previous event topics included regional development, the ASU Center for New Technology & Innovation, and high revenue-generating events in Scottsdale.
The two major events held by Scottsdale Leadership are the annual awards luncheon in December and the community forum held in the Spring.

It’s not enough to point the finger at those who have let us down and to expect others to come forward and fix our problems, Nor can anyone afford to call themselves a leader unless they truly have the interests of our community at hearts. Too many people like to think they are leaders and too many are identified by the media as leaders who are not really leaders at all.”
