Time Commitment
Before applying to Scottsdale Leadership, candidates should realize the significant and seriousness of the time commitment involved. Class members are expected to attend all required program days. Additional time must be committed for project work and special events such as the orientation reception, attendance at a city council meeting, and so on.
All participants must fulfill Scottsdale Leadership’s graduation policy in order to complete the program. The policy is printed in the program application, as are all the program dates.
Tuition
The tuition for 2012-13 Scottsdale Leadership Core Program is $2300. If you are selected to participate in the program, a non-refundable deposit of $1300 is due by July 18, 2012 in order to secure your place in the class. The remaining non-refundable balance of $1000 is due on August 15, 2012.
In addition to tuition, there will be other expenses (Scottsdale Leadership Luncheon ticket, class fines, etc.) paid by participants throughout the program year.
Tuition covers only a portion of the core program’s actual cost. Scottsdale Leadership is a non-profit organization that depends on contributions from the community to support our program.
Scholarships
A limited number of partial scholarships are available ($1000 maximum). Scholarships are based on financial need. Scholarship applications are kept confidential and must be submitted with your application. To request the form, call the Scottsdale Leadership office at 480-627-6710.
