Class members meet with community, city and state leaders to develop an in-depth understanding of the issues facing the community. They discuss how decisions in Scottsdale are made and how they can influence those decisions in the future. Scottsdale Leadership participants form a personal bond and professional network with classmates, alumni and presenters. Graduates become an integral part of the community serving in leadership roles that will help shape how Scottsdale grows and prospers.
Graduates positively impact more than 600 civic, philanthropic and cultural organizations by:
- Holding city and state public offices
- Serving on nonprofit boards and city commissions
- Volunteering their time to community issues
- Contributing as a business leader
